Abstract
Individuality is a universal quality in human beings, but few are able to recognize it. As a rule, human beings spread themselves out in the crowd, and in the passage of time, they lose their own reality. In a number of people, the spread in the group leads to boredom, and due to an accident, they become aware of their originality and begin the process of recognizing the uniqueness of their existence. Mawlana's experience of lived experience was so widespread that it resulted in the separation from his original self. His familiarity with Shams Tabrizi led him to the position of Boundary-Line Situation that transformed him into a distinct personality from the scholastic scientist. Mawlana transformed her lived experience into a mystical school, and this experience and the knowledge associated with it are summarized in the mystical allegories of the Masnavi, for the education and guidance of the readers, in a language full of mystery and irony. In the present paper, we are going to analyze the current situation with the help of a number of philosophers' views on the authenticity of existence and modern psychological perspectives. Several important allegories have been investigated in order to show that in all these stories, Rumi has expressed the critique of her present in the form of symbolic allegories and the reality of humans distancing themselves from their authentic selves in the midst of the community, and the necessity of beginning the process of authentic self-discovery.
